Moravian Open Mixed 2005 is the only tournament of the mixed teams hold in the Czech Republic and also the only tournament in the region of Moravia. Curling clubs from Brno 1.CK Brno, CK Valící se utráky and a new born RPK Brno are very glad to have the possibility to organise this tournament and present the game of curling to the citizens of Brno.
The tournament will be hold from April 8th to April 10th 2005 at the ice stadium Z Úvoz (street Úvoz 55). On the top of the mentioned curling clubs, this event is sponsored by the The Region of South Moravia, The town of Brno, the enterprises such as SAND TEAM, DS Leasing and so on.
This year for the first time ECF organise The European Curling Mixed Championship (in Andorra). The winner of the Czech national championship will represent the Czech republic at this event, in this case we expect a great interest of the czech players therefore it is probable that the tournament will begin already on Friday, April 8th.
